Here is a cheeky interview about their thoughts on the FIFO lifestyle.
“FIFO was something we always thought about and when a chance opportunity came knocking, we knew it was time to just do it”
What’s a fun fact about you : I was born in Newman and spent the first five years of my life there
What is the first thing you do when you wake up in the morning : Coffee, is there any other way to start the day?! I try to get it in before the boys wake, but my youngest is usually my alarm, so it's a morning coffee with him
When you’re having a bad day, what do you do to make yourself feel better : Bad days are usually related to the tough days with the boys, the days where my patience is wearing thin. I usually know when I'm hitting that point, so I blast music through the speakers and we just dance it away. Our favourite hit at the moment is Conga by Alvin & the Chipmunks. You're welcome
What are you known for in your circle of friends : The mum of the group, the organised one, the one who needs to know what's happening well in advance so I can plan accordingly
Would you rather have more time or more money : More time, with just a little bit more money
If your life was a movie, what would it be called : Organised Chaos
What would your advice be to your child wanting to enter the FIFO lifestyle : Everything in life has it's pros and cons, including FIFO, and you won't know if it's for you, until you try. But it's the best thing your Dad and I did, for you
Who would win in an arm wrestle? A dump truck driver or a boiler maker : No idea!
Describe the FIFO industry in one word : Dynamic
